Not a bad set, no. But I would love it if they lost the blue peak and added some 1 x 6 x 1 arches instead, and maybe some 1 x 3 x 1 arches too. lol, I went there not even 10 mins before it showed up! I loged on at my mom's to see is #3033 was available online. Well, I had consumer affairs forward some information about atleast allowing someine a discount for ordering 10,000 2x4 lt gray bricks, plus some slopes and plates after 3 years. Just plain great! This IS the way to go. My only dislike is that this set will not be sold on stores - it could be a "bait" for the kids, making their interest in LEGO grow again to pre '96 levels. Hi, (...) Funny that... I also have a 7835 though I only got it MIB, not MISB. In any case the cypress tree that came with it is slightly bent giving it the windswept look. Town gets the octan gas station plus some bulk packs like windows, doors etc Pirates gets the 2 pirate ships and the islanders island Castle gets the guarded inn, the castle expander (...) I ordered two sets. They were also bent. I'll be pretty surprised if any "de-bending" solutions have long-lasting effects. (I welcome the oppurtunity to be surprised.) Well, I received my modest order of 20 trees and, like Huw mentioned previously, they all show a pronounced bend along the trunk. While I agree that this can impart a nice "wind-swept" appearance, I am concerned that these are in essence NOT the (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

I hate to sound naïve, but what’s the difference between LD & S@H? I’ve been a closet AFOL for a while, but I am fairly new to the ‘official’ community.
