Can someone from LEGO Direct respond to this, please?
I too tried to place an order today, and got nowhere. The item I want to
order is a LSAH Special for this week. I can't order the LSAH Special item
from the LEGO web site (it is shown as "Not Available".) The operator
answering 1-800-453-4652 says the item is not available as well.
It used to be that one simply needed to call during EST business hours to
get a "real" operator, but that doesn't appear to be the case anymore. How
do I go about ordering a LEGO Shop at Home Special item? Or is this only a
Christmas-is-coming overload problem?

| At least you got through with 1-800-453-4652! I have be trying all day to get through! At least 10+ times at 9am, 10am, 11am, 3pm and 5pm. All I get is busy signal. beep, beep, beep, beep, beep...
