First, I'll preface this by saying that I'm not a Mac owner, and I've never
really used Mac OS X. Having said that, I think the mock-up looks amazing,
but I do have one complaint.
While I don't have anything against the Aqua interface, it is possible to go
too far, and I feel that color choice portion of the interface does this.
Using Aqua gel drops for the solid colors seems like a bad idea.
If there weren't any transparent colors, then it would be better. I'm not
sure it would be ideal because the spherically rendered transparent gel
drops don't tell you what you need to know from a color choice: the EXACT
color that is going to be used. Given that the colors are being used on a
3D model, this may not really be an issue. However, I think given the fact
that there are both solid and transparent colors makes the use of
transparent-looking balls for the solid color choice confusing. While they
may not look very aqua-like, perhaps solid spheres for the solid colors
would be more intuitive.
