I'm hoping someone can help me figure out the problem with the following driver. Ultimately I want to simulate a sony IR remote control using a 6.270 board.   Is 5563 worth getting?
 
A week ago I acquired a copy of 5571. It took 2 full evenings to put it together and it was well worth the inflated eBay price. This thing looks like it uses the same technology as a basic cycle "computer". The price is very comparable. I think that the difference in the catalogs may be representative of who Lego seems to be targetting them to, and this is indicative of the market today. Perhaps I don't understand what needs to be done to get "make depend" to work properly. I'm working on a Win95 box.
