I checked out Entrega's 2U1S1P Multifunction USB Hub (which adds a serial port and a parallel port without requiring additional IRQs) a few weeks ago. I would think any fullheight bricks with an even number of studs in each direction ought to work, the DUPLO(r) baseplate studs are the same as the brick studs, their hollow center mates with the LEGO(r) tube. (...) (27 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

In the Scarbourgh Town Center (East on the LRT) there is an amazing "Medieval Castle" on display by a young chap called Alex de Lint (13).
