Q:Using DUPLO baseplates w/LEGO

I picked up two large green DUPLO baseplates at a garage sale today and I am
wondering what (if any) LEGO bricks fit directly onto the DUPLO baseplate.

I know I can put some duplo bricks onto the baseplate and then use LEGO on
those but I would connect right to the baseplate.

Thanks for any help.

I would think any fullheight bricks with an even number of studs in each direction ought to work, the DUPLO(r) baseplate studs are the same as the brick studs, their hollow center mates with the LEGO(r) tube. (...) (25 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)
