I've built an eight-wide train for my 4.5V tracks, too. Unfortunately,
it's very difficult to get enough friction with the track when you don't
use train wheels for the drive wheels. (I was trying to Mindstorm the
train. The proof of concept worked, stopping at stations and reversing
direction at the end of the line. When the train was built, it proved
too heavy for the various gearings I came up with. If anyone has an idea
for a strong train motor (no modifications, please) please LMK.)

| Thanks to everyone for your comments. I am thinking of starting a Railroad module using a somewhat scaled down version of the GMLTC modules and I think the Semi's will be included along with a warehouse or other delivery/tranfer point with the (...) (25 years ago, 31-Aug-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)
