Thanks to everyone for your comments. I am thinking of starting a Railroad
module using a somewhat scaled down version of the GMLTC modules and I think
the Semi's will be included along with a warehouse or other delivery/tranfer
point with the railroad.
I need to build up my train collection first along with my basic brick
collection so it will be a very long term project but that is something I want
to do anyway instead of all quick projects.

Boy I didn't think this would develop into an 8 wide discussion. I do like
Bram's semi and I may try and make working doors on my trucks but I think at 6
wide the doors might look strange.
I am still a 6 wide kind of guy but I could still be converted :) .

| (...) I've built an eight-wide train for my 4.5V tracks, too. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to get enough friction with the track when you don't use train wheels for the drive wheels. (I was trying to Mindstorm the train. The proof of concept (...) (25 years ago, 29-Aug-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)
