I just picked up Mindstorms on Thursday. Today, I noticed that output A in reverse is significantly weaker running a motor than it is running the motor forward. I've tried this with more than one motor and also compared it to that of output C. Is (...) (25 years ago, 1-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Brick sizes vary in the US and probably moreso across the globe. The "common" brick size is 8" x 4" x 2-2/3" nominal. Actual size subtracts 3/8" from each dimension for mortar joints. The size of the common brick is determined by human scale. The (...) (25 years ago, 31-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

This is a good plan. Linc Smith suggested a similar system to me only it was linear. I used the touch sensor to count the studs on a technic beam. I was traveling a short distance with a slider. I have the same problem. In Win95, it was easy to correct; I just changed comma separator to a period in the Control Panel \ National Settings. In Win98, this didn' help. Slizers/Throw-bots seem also to be very popular in Australia too, they sold out in all the major Melbourne toy stores and are currently virtually impossible to find - although who's to say more stock isn't on the way.....
