This question does not parse. It does stick up between ties and it does
lever the two cars apart, was that what you were asking? if sessior ==
scissor, then the answer is no, it's not exactly a scissor action.

That is a problem. you may want to use this device at the crest of a
humpyard where you could build the elevation up with bricks, or cut a
hole in your plywood (same as Zonker did for his turntable)
