Maybe it's only me, but I think the main reason LEGO does not acknowledge adults as their costumers, frustrating us all with their too basic service packs and basic software, is that they have a very sloooow product cycle.
I don't know it anyone can confirm this, but it seems to me that their LEGO computers (RCX/CyberMaster/etc) are the result of a project that started at least 3 years ago. If this is their best production speed, then we can expect some more developed RCX only in a few years from now. This is sad... :-(
