Totally agree. When I was building my crane I had the same problem of getting the lift of the boom started. This is a really clever solution. It's also a great combination of looks and functions. JB I travel extensively around the US and have carried RCXs and models onboard airplanes for some time. My suggestion would be to carry it on and avoid checking it in and the new scanners. I have about 35 different colored 1x2s. I want to arange them in order of there colors. Is there a good color spectrum chart I can refer to? I have looked at the color charts both on bricklink and lugnet but they dont seem to be in a proper rainbow. (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

My views on the subject: If you are taking a pre-made MOC, take the whole thing in hand luggage if possible (or mabie just the module with the RCX in it). Show it to the security person specially (just as you might do if you were worried about the (...) (23 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics)

We have a simple rule for R13 5.The entire device at start should fit within a 12 inch cube. Originally when we gave a size limit we talked about a robot being no bigger than 12" cube.
