Greetings! After a somewhat longer-than-intended absence, I’m back, and with good news: LEGO Direct is pleased to announce that bulk sales from LEGO start today, June 14. Our first bulk releases include standard bricks (1x4, 1x6, 1x8, 2x2, 2x4, 2x8) (...) Maybe it's because the grey parts pack a.k.a. 7161 Gungan Sub isn't being sold at discounted pricing yet? ;-) It does have an awful lot of grey and blue bricks in it, looks like more grey bricks than blue, though, from what I can see of the picture. Hmmm ... If one wants dark grey, I suppose that one is quite good. But if you wanted light grey the 7161 would have to be the go. Anyone here know where I can pick one or maybe two for half-price? This is great news! I have already contributed yet more money into the LEGO coffers thanks to this service. Well my question is: Where is the $30 to $40ish (depending on size) 1000 piece bag of basic elements? I don't know about the rest of you but when someone says bulk I think in terms of thousands.
