One word.  Ugh.  That has to be the worst group of SW sets ever.  I love my
SW sets.  I love my AAT and MTT.  I just don't like any of these sets.  They
come across as minifig packs or very angular.  I see the Ewok sets as the
cheap way to get ST's but you get stuck with lots of Ewoks too.  It's like
the Jar Jar of the RotJ.  Jedi Defense?  Those Droidekas are weak compared
to the custom someone did before.  And what is with the canopy on the TPCC.
Looks strange.  I'll wait until I see the Hi-Rez.  Looks like all the Lego
Creators talents went into the RBR.  I'm glad I got my order in right away.
The DV looks promising but the R2 has issues from the pic I saw.  I'm very
greatful for your posting of these sets, as now I can continue my SUB
COLLECTION.  Whooo Hoooooo.  Did you see the size of that underwater base.
That's awesome.  Some of the sub designs are generic, but the squid sub is
sweet as is the red shark looking sub up top.  They look awesome.  I have
high hopes for the upcoming Episode II vehicles and will be there at 12
midnight just like last time when they release all the Ep II stuff at the
local TRU.  Hopefully I will not be disappointed.  But I will be passing on
this group of SW sets, except maybe the Obi Wan set.  The only other way to
get him is through the Bongo.

Thanks again for posting.  I now know what to look for come Xmas.  Go Alpha
Team!

And before anyone busts on me, I have every single SW lego set except
Watto's Junk Shop and Droid Escape.  I just wait for the sets I don't like
much to go on sale before I pick them up, so I'll get them all eventually,
what collector wouldn't?

Jason

No offense Jason, but I think, with exception to the new ogel underwater base,
that the new Alpha team offerings suck.  The shark sub is nice if you remove
the wierd contraptions on the front.  I think subs have been done too much....
lego divers, the hydronauts (Ohhh I love my Neptune Research Base), and now
Alpha Team / divers....

I love the first series of Alpha team guys, all with DIFFERENT specialties...
great concept, the over-all look was still too juniorized though...

I really think the new Ogel base would make an excellent "tourist type" tower
if done right, in a town setting.  It looks like it has a lot of nice pieces
to it!!!

Just my opinions...that's all
