Just a follow up to this topic now that I have an RCX of my own (thanks Santa...and my wife) I found that using the Radio Shack light sensors for detecting on coming trains to the crossing works great. Today, I was looking at a 6761 with the thought of parting a few out. That set contains two parts that I would describe as a 1 x 16 tile with a raised serated edge lengthwise on the top. Examination of the bottom shows a p/n of 3228. Partsref tells (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.trains)

John, Great job on the Chateau, I stumbled across it this morning on Brickshelf and was very impressed with the ornate details around the doors and windows. Is it gray or white? This MOC is a departure for me in a couple of ways. Normally, I build trains and train related stuff. After having been to LLC this past summer, I became inspired to create a building that had miniland detail in it, but was minifig scale. So I built (...) Well seing i am the only 12 year old who actually builds trains for shows, i think i would have a good chance for the 7-12 age group. I received the January Shop at Home catalog today. All of the new LoM sets are shown as are the Mosaic and the new Dragon figure. Probably the biggest news is the Train building contest.
