I assume The NXT will use 6 - 1.5v alakline batteries for a 9v system.
Maybe the rechargable pack is a 9.6v nicd or nimh (preferrably). I haven't
studied the pictures enough to tell if 8 - 1.2v batteries would fit under
there (which I doubt). We'll find out eventually. ;)
As for the Legacy support for non-digital. I assume the MUPs have tried to
see if this sort of thing is built in already (which I would have assumed)
by connecting the new stuff with the old stuff and playing around. I know I
would have. :P
