I like the idea of having Vending Machines in March for two reasons. I think it will fit well with a library sponsored event were we can show off lots of different robotic designs. Calum, If I understand the goal of the vending machine idea correctly then I would think it would be ideally suited for the event sponsored by the Library. It may be a good idea to start with rtl13. What event would work best in the library setting? Then, decide on rtl12. It doesn't seem like Trebuchets would be good IN the library. Yeah my friend works at the Hillcrest Toys Toys Toys and she said those sets were sold pretty fast. Though today I still saw some at Fairview Mall and they were on sale for $2.99 each. Thanks Derek! I'd add the following observation: For all the "normal" train cars I've tested, if you have a track-side object 3 bricks tall or shorter, it can usually get about 1 stud closer. Hey Iain, I recently did a 12-sided ferris wheel, admittedly easier, but I might be able to help: -=<(1)>=- Those 45-degree-bend technic fasteners can do the trick, and here's how. I've got the corner clearance diagram completed for Altenburg. (URL) setup the clearances trying to maintain at least one stud clearance between the side of the cars and the walls. I'm trying to build a model of Psyclone. It's disc is made of ten seating modules of 4 seats each, so the whole thing isn't really a disc, its a decagon. Funny you should ask. I've just been reading a paper where the researchers were following a maze of Lego road plates with a Handyboard robot.
