Hmm, well I worked at the Coffee Beanery for two years, when I ws 16 to
18 years old:

A business based in Flushing, Michigan, where I grew up. I still love
it! And it is a lot better than Starbucks, IMO.

Oh yeah. The little family-owned roasting shops are always better than the big
guys. [Shameless plug for] Schuil Coffee in Grand Rapids, MI is a fantastic
shoppe.

Anyway, I remember most people always complained of the coffee being too
cold, and we would have to warm it up. When this whole Mcdonalds lawsuit
came about, we had to post a sign saying, WARNING: Any hot product sold
here is extremely hot, use caution! If you noticed, all the lids of hot
products always said the same thing since then (CAUTION: Items are
extremely hot, etc.) Ludicrous, but this whole lawsuit was blown out of
proportion, and I think we need to examine the legalities of these kind
of issues.

I think it goes back to the common sense / legality issue. How far does
it go, and how much are "evil" corporations going to get sued for?

It's not just corporations anymore. Some woman is suing the U.S. government to
get WARNINGS printed on the front of The Holy Bible, telling potential readers
that believing the teachings of this book can be hazardous to your health
and/or life.
