Wait a minute. How is TRU responsible for what happened to your Lego set after
it left their store? They certainly could not (not would they be expected to
in any case) have verified that the receipt holder was _not_ you.

There is something, however, which might help your case:  The exact time of
the return will be entered in TRU's computers, and this can be cross-
referenced with TRU's surveillance cameras. This might allow you to (with the
help of the police) actually find the person who broke into your car.

In the meantime, get real! And ... you might want to start putting those
receipts in your wallet.

As for me, I don't usually shop at TRU for Lego because their _prices_ are
almost always too high. (One would think that a huge chain like TRU would use
its buying power to bring lower prices to the consumer, but this is yet to
happen--Lego Shop@Home is a actually a viable alternative to TRU.)

A couple of months ago I bought some Lego from Toys R Us. Later that afternoon some sleazebag broke the window of my car and stole it. (They broke a $165.00 window to get $15.00 worth of Lego, the asshole) Anyway, what is even worse is, since it was (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
