Are you serious? That's not as ridiculous as suing McDonald's for spilling
coffee in your own lap but is still pretty out there, IMO. Yes, they screwed
up. I thought their attempt at damage control ($100 gift certificates) was a
fine gesture. Maybe not enough to win back all the people who didn't get their
merchandise in time but still a worthy attempt.

That's a fine example of the Christmas Spirit - "We didn't get our presents in
time so let's sue the bastards!"

No offnse, but how was TRU supposed to know the item they were refunding was stolen? I agree that it sucks you were robbed, and I hope you find the culprit, but I don't understand why TRU should lose money in the deal. That is what you wanted (...)
