If you humbley say so yourself? ;-)

Or do you prefer just to sit around and complain about things? (which is your perogative, but not very interesting)

Well, given the mess people like YOU got us in,

The “mess” meaning liberating the Iraqis from the yoke of dictatorship?

...and replacing it with violent anarchy. That’s what I call progress!

Anarchy? Where are you getting your information?

The “mess” in helping the Iraqis defeat foreign terrorists who would destroy their young democracy?

Hmm. I recall reading that only ~5% of the insurgents were “foreign” and the majority of Iraqis want Bush to pack his bags.

Now I must really question your sources, because what you have just said could not be further from the truth! Virtually all if not all of the suicide attacks are perpetrated by foreigners! The Iraqis want our presence!

BTW: there is much more to democracy than bombing a country and giving the survivors a vote.

You know, BTW, life is messy...

Do you care to move to Baghdad for a few months to put your “messy” life in some perspective?

Baghdad is not the anarchist hellhole you imagine it to be! Again, your perspective of that country is horribly skewed.

I suppose I’d start by trying to hand over power to Iraqis.

Fine. That happens to be the plan.

To be honest, I’m not convinced that there is any sort of plan whatsoever!

Well, you can deny the truth if that fits your perspective better.

I would NOT rig their constitution

Who would?

Clue: The same person hoped to install a convicted fraudster as leader once Baghdad fell.

Let me guess-- it’s all about oil?

or setup permanent bases in their country.

What’s wrong with that? Worked in Germany. Worked in Japan. Worked in South Korea.

Should Iraqis not be consulted? It is a democracy after all!

Why do you automatically assume that they haven’t been consulted?

I would NOT limit the training of the Iraqi armed forces to light weapons.

Thought you didn’t like “rushing in”. In time.

It is not in Bush’s interests for Iraq to have a competent law enforcement service. Think about it.

Either you need to think less about it, or more about it, because your analysis makes no sense.

I WOULD show that Iraqi lives ARE worth something by risking lives to protect them(they are human beings after all!).

Possibly the most daft thing you’ve ever said. The ignorance of it is simply staggering.

Iraqi lives are so worthless,

Americans are dying for Iraqi freedom, so why don’t you shut your ignorant piehole you stupid jerk? Sorry, but you can be such an ass!

   I’d STOP human rights abuses.

No undies on heads of prisoners. Got it.

I was thinking more of murder and torture.

Cites? Aren’t undies on the heads of prisoners “torture”?

I would NOT rely on support from (or give support to) barbaric regimes.

Not germane.

To you, perhaps. But when “freedom” is based on torture and murder, questions must be asked.

Yeah, like what the hell are you talking about?

Oh, and I’d also put B.Liar and the man-monkey on trial for breaking international law.

Your characterizations say more about you than them.

…and your blind support for Bush tells us a great deal about you.

I do not blindly support Bush by any stretch.

What would you do? Carry on regardless I expect?! Afterall, if it’s not broke, why fix it!

Things are getting better every day in Iraq. The Iraqis will prevail.

Complete poppycock! What is your source? Read this before you tell us: “A United Nations survey released earlier this month found that Iraqi living standards had been plummeting with only just over half of the population having access to safe drinking water.”

Like I said, it is people like YOU that got us in this mess. You really are a “useful idiot”.

Your information about Iraq is plainly and simply wrong. Arguing with you about this is futile. I choose to wait and we will both see you proven wrong.

JOHN

Stating something is wrong and *proving* it is wrong are entirely different things, John. (...) WHAT????? You seem to have conveniently forgotten the war in Iraq was primarily to remove the "threat" of nuclear weapons and the (apparent) harbouring of terrorists, as part of the "war on terrorism".
