Shareholders are often more concerned with filling their pockets than they are with doing great things. If they weren’t, they’d donate their money rather than investing it.

That’s absolute nonsense.

From page 112 of The Libertarian Playbook: “Though technically not a valid rhetorical device, argument by assertion is commonly employed when attempting to dismiss an argument by fiat.”

I could say more on this topic at this time but I’m not sure it’s a good use of my time.

Also from page 112: “One may attempt to give the technique (of argument by assertion) the appearance of validity by affecting an air of righteous indignation, all the while insisting either “I have proven the point already” or “I have better ways to spend my time”

Personally, I like the spurious fake-quotation that raises (shouldn’t that be “lowers”?) sophistry to a new level. ;-)

I pride myself on my sophistrication.

Dave!

FUT ot.fun, because I’m having such a swell time!
