My purchasing has gone mixed the last two years since I started buying parts
(and a few sets) on BrickLink.
When it comes to in-store sets then I share much of what Peter Guenther has
said, most of the sets out there just don't "have it" for me. The only 2004 set
I'll make exception to is the F1 Ferrari racer (heck, I've the Williams
version). Ten years ago things were just the opposite- Oh, how I miss 1994!
In the past, SAH was a great place for bulk for me but light grey bricks are
near gone (l.g. 2x4s are on backorder) and dark grey is gone. I'd say my only
SAH bulk purchases will be black 2x2 tiles. BrickLink will replace the job (and
get the money) SAH once did.
