For me, it's not the color issue--it's just that the sets out now leave me cold, between uninteresting set design and a poor price/piece ratio... I've TRIED to buy Lego, I've gone out to the store and stood in the Lego aisle... but there's nothing out there that's worth it for me today. I'm probably going the secondary market route myself. I know the whole 'new colors' topic has been done again and again, but I was thinking today about the way it has affected my recent buying decisions. I was wondering if other people had been affected to the same degree. To be fair, I did buy one set (...) (21 years ago, 13-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping) !!
