OK, here is the scoop on shirts. Thanks to John Neal for busting his tail to do these despite teaching all week. Based on Todd's answers prohibiting AFOL and LUGNET on the same shirt, I will have three different kinds of shirts with me. The market (...) I went to Sunnyvale TRU to pick up an RC car Sunday (I finally saw one in action at the Learning Express in El Paseo, Saratoga and it works pretty nice) and spotted two of the big Technic Shuttle (8480) which, according to S@H is discontinued. I checked Fremont (Newpark Mall) on Friday night. No sign of them. (That is, no sign where they would have been, if they had already been there and gone.) I managed to zip down to Winchester at, um, the legal speed limit, and picked up one of the last four landspeeders. And I picked up another for a friend's kid. Everything else was gone. What sort of events are planned for the Legofest? I've never been to one, so I'm just wondering if people will be bringing MOCs, creating some sort of set-up (town, train, space, etc.), etc. Also, are there any updates? (...) One thing maybe worth considering is how the name is likely to be pronounced... BayLUG or BAYLUG would most certainly be pronounced BAY-lug by anyone who sees it. One of the problems with Geocities is the pop-up advertising. You also only get 12 MB of space. I think we might need more than that. One of the Target stores here in San Jose had five Best-Lock sets on the shelves, four military sets and the Space Shuttle with Crawler.
