how about not having a parallel port? :-)
really.. I never find myself wanting a scanner... but for some strange
reason, I thought a digital camera and a video capture card is a must.
so I guess I can volunteer my digital camera and capture card to the
cause.

| (...) Sunnyvale. (...) Ditto. I have a flatbed scanner at work and home, and PaintShop Pro in both locations, so can scan stuff for people. Same rules as above apply. NOTE, however, that living in/near Sillycon Valley, IF you have a computer at (...) (26 years ago, 19-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
