I received a parcel from Busy Bee the other day with a new price list. As
per Carbon 60's site, the following are still listed:
2126 Goods Wagons £39.99
3225 Classic Train set £39.99
4519 Cross Track £7.50
4548 Transformer and Speed Regulator £29.99
4565 Freight Train £99.99
But they've also added the Euro sets:
4533 Snow Plough £7.25
4541 Maintenance Vehicle £9.99
4553 Train Wash £24.99
4556 Station £31.99
4557 Container Crane £24.99
You might get better prices from Toy City, BUT: Toy City are out of stock of
most of these, and I feel that we should support British Busy Bee anyway ;-)
...and I think that the Euro sets were bought into stock 'cos we asked for
'em!
BTW: Scott Arthur told us that BB had stocks of 2150 a while back... BB do
not advertise sets which will draw a lot of attention simply so that their
phone doesn't get clogged with calls (and that's my interpretation of Paul's
words). I've been in need (!) of a 4565 for a while, so I asked for one
along with another 3225 for parts plus some non train sets, and was
pleasantly surprised to be offered sets not listed... ;-)

| Just been speaking with Paul: he says that he can't buy 4560s as cheaply as Toy City sells them... Now where do we place the blame for UK high prices??? Just Curious .oO (24 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
