Instead of posting this message to all of the related threads, I decided to start my own... Ever since Jake announce the color change I've read about 100 messages whining about how LEGO has betrayed the fans. I say it's the opposite. I think (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general) !

New SW Minis, Peeron, Colors, Thanks and Thoughts

Well, I'm sitting here in my hotel room in Bloomington after shopping for Legos. I have a lot I want to say and I hope people don't mind the long post, but I feel this is important. I have been an AFOL for 18 years now and loved Legos long before (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Petition against permanent color changes

(...) Legoland builders can still get Maersk Blue. If they do go through with this we'll be paying 50 cents a brick on Bricklink and they wont even notice.-Ken (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Traumatic Events in the Life of a Lego Fan

Hello! (...) Oh, it even went farther than 2000. Actually Classic Space was situated a hundred years in the future, that is in the year 2079. (URL) Bye Jojo (URL) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New colors and other info

WOW!!! Just as my dark age without touching lego for weeks on end starts... THE WORTHLESS COMPANY CHANGES THE GODFORSAKEN COLORS!! That is cruel and unjust, you really mess up alot of people if you "replace" the greys. The greys are the backbone of (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf poll

(...) What interests me is the very similar levels of Type 1 vs Type 2. In a random population sample you would expect about 10 times as many Type 2s as Type 1s. Since Type 2 typically onsets in middle age or later whereas Type 1 is more associated (...) (22 years ago, 21-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Question about AC Nielsen surveys

(...) Yeah, same here. I tried this the other night with several sets I recently bought. Neither the setnumber, nor the number printed on the Nielsen page works. After 8 tries, I just figured "they" don't want my answers. /\/\ark "non o'my two (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) I talk to my best friend in Iraq online all the time - it sure is strange. We nearly stopped writing letters back and forth cause he's on M$N a couple nights a week! -Tim (22 years ago, 22-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New colors and other info (ATTN JAKE)

(...) The easy way around this is simply to not use focus groups, but to poll individuals. The idea behind a focus group is to see how interaction between the participants unfolds so that you can anticipate how general public reaction might unfold. (...)   Re: New colors and other info (ATTN JAKE)

(...) I never attacked Jake just the unwarrented defence that has mounted. My points revisited. There is no excuse for the service rep who chose to lie to me when I called LEGO.   Re: New colors and other info

Re: A far more insidious change to the brick!

(...) I suspect that the fact that the hinges hold their shape (i.e. can hold the wings of a ship or whatever in some kind of "open" position working against gravity) is another factor here. Much more playability I suspect. (22 years ago, 22-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space)

  Question about AC Nielsen surveys

Hello, I was able to purchase the four new MINI Star Wars sets at my local Toys R Us today. In the back of two of the instruction booklets there is a website address for a LEGO satisfaction survey.
