Does anyone know where the term "rainbow warrior" originated when speaking
about building lego?  So far the best i can do is trace it back to the
following article from 1999:

just curious... any help would rule.

One from RTL way back in March 1999:

A few talking about (apparently) a real ship called the "Rainbow Warrior",
bombed in around 1985 or so?:

The Rainbow Warrior was a ship owned by Greenpeace that was destroyed by the
French Government in 1987.  The Greenpeace people then bought another boat, also
called the Rainbow Warrior, which sailed in 1989, and I assume it's still
cruising around.

"Rainbow Warrior" also refers to an Cree indian proverb.

It also also refers to what the University of Hawaii's nickname used to be until
it was changed to just Warriors in 2000.

As for when it started being used as applied to Lego, it seems that 1999 might
be the timeframe.
