I wondered how people (esp. kids) reach into the higher bins?  Does a store
employee have to help you with your selection?

Still hoping I might see one of these in person one day (however unlikely that
may be).

The upper Pick-a-Brick bins are for show only, and don't contain loose brick.
There is brick in the back of these drawers, but it can't be scooped out because
it is behind a clear plastic wall.  I've been told that there will be more
variety of available pieces in the future, so maybe they will utilize more bins
as time goes on.  If they do, they'll need a ladder or something.

As far as kids go, they don't seem nearly as interested in the Pick-a-Brick wall
as the adults are.  I've seen many AFOLs at the old feeding trough, but even the
non-AFOL parents seem more excited than their children.  Many have to encourage
their children to fill a cup.  I've even heard tales of children throwing
tantrums because they didn't want to fill their PaB cups all the way to the top!

I hope you are able to find your way to one of the new LEGO Retail Stores, they
are worth the pilgrimage.  If not, don't despair.  I have heard that this is
only the beginning of a major push into retail by TLC, so expect to see these
stores opening all over the place over the next few years.
