Though Im no expert at such things, I suspect that lugnet.events is the
appropriate place:
lugnet.events Organized community events, festivals, competitions,
tournaments, shows, etc.: announcements, ideas, collaboration, planning,
fund-raising, curricula, technology, advertising, literature, experiences,
analysis, discussions, etc.
The mere existence of controversy or disagreement does not, in my view,
automatically qualify something for off-topic.debate.
Also, if setting follow ups to another group, it is always a good idea to
crosspost to that group. For instance if you were replying to a message in
lugnet.events.brickworld, amd setting the follow up to o.t-d, you should post
your reply to both groups.
In this case, Im pretty sure that the appropriate place to set follow ups is to
admin.general, so Im posting it to both lugnet.events.brickworld and
lugnet.admin.general. (Ive manually overridden your FUT o-t.d).
Hope that helps
