I just think people would like to know going in which one it is.

Why would it matter one way or the other? Thats what Im curious about. Is
it like the reason why people like to read People Magazine?
|
What reason
would organizers of AFOL events have to keep that information from the
community?
|
They arent legally obligated to do so for one. Its none of our business
for two. It doesnt matter one way or the other for three. Et cetera, et
cetera, et cetera.

I wont rehash all of the arguments here. There are many reasons why people
treat non-profit and for-profit entities differently - many were discussed in
this thread about BF 06.
If there is no difference between them, when was the last time you made a
donation to Target? I shop at Target all the time and I think they provide a
valuable service - but I wouldnt give them a donation or volunteer to work a
register.
