Good idea.  So, if such a system was implimented, we could do away with parts
pack updates and go to individual synchronization and a 'continuously updating'
parts library as individual parts become approved.

don't want the latest version.

  I'd like to see something like that happening too but all times we
tried to add new standards it was too confusing (remember the long BFC
threads). Having a completely new format will be 100 times more
difficult.

Yeah...but it would still be beneficial.  I don't see it happening within a year
though, seeing the rate of growth we're at and all - there's no real active push
for a new format.

  That's really sad, I have several ideas that I'm not going to be able
to implement alone. :(
