-snip great post-

Kevin - awesome post. I just wish it was outside the Admin tree so all could see
it when it was spotlighted.

Unfotunatly, given Leonard's post, it seems that all that we say here is
irrelevent.

I hope we get some sort of REAL answer to your points. I think it was bad form
for Larry to get such a baby slap when *even his re-post* was worthy of a
suspension, and others got a much longer timeout for things that did not even
happen on this sie. I am willing to bet of anybody other than Larry made the
post he made, even the repost the timeout would have been much longer. The pure
disrespect Larry showed for the community is just flat out horrible. Do not
forget Larry has had major power trips and meltdowns as an Admin before - think
back to BL.Just because somebody is "good to the community" does not mean they
will make good admins on any site - Larry is proof positive of that.

Todd has been a gentleman and addressed some of my issues, but I doubt very
seriously that any of my questions regarding the justification of Chris'
suspension will get answered.

This is obviously *not* about applying the ToU as a set of rules.  It *is* very
clearly about power and control, who has it and who doesn't.  By definition
then, Chris is defensless, even when he was framed by Leonard.  The rules are
applied arbitrarily and only for the advantage of the admins.  In a system
without checks and balances, combined with leaders who cannot even live within
their own rule system, who knows what other tyranny we're in for?

I think Larry has a lot to offer on lugnet and many other forums, I do have
extreme reservations about his diplomacy skills and how they impact the face of
the leaders of lugnet.

I *have* been abused by Larry's power and control before.  I have forgiven him,
but not forgotten.  In the end, a few years later when the word got to an
official body that replaced the unofficial body, I was vindicated, and others
got very upset.  Larry and the unoficial committee and I came to an agreement in
the past, and I encrouaged the official body, to not try to levy sanctions in
the present.  Of the members of the unofficial governing body, Larry's comments
were the most viscious.

I had hoped that Larry had learned from that experience, but I can tell that he
has not.  I don't blame him for being so upset.  I understand it completely.  I
completely disagree with how he and others have discarded the very rules they
expect us to follow, to win a personal war.

I said it before, will say it again - a few of the admins here are out of
control.

M

Right now I am only aware of two.  I'm disappointed in the other admins for
letting the obvious and reckless misuse of the ToU happen as they have.

Kevin

I completely agree with the above statements as I have witnessed and experienced
much of what Kevin spoke of.
