This is addressed to all Lugnet members.
I have been suspended recently for many reasons. I am not going to get in the
details, there is no need for that here. Please bear with me if you're reading
this. I'll try to be as clear and honest as I can.
I have been in touch with the admins through emails in the last 2 days. I have
decided to do this privately with them instead of going public because I felt it
wasn't necessary to involve everyone in a dreadful dicussion about my errors and
bad attitude. I've just been informed that I wasn't suspended anymore. The
Admins, as you can guess, didn't ask me to apologize to you all. They didn't
ask for anything, except of course for me to stop acting the way I was. I will
comply. I will not only comply and try to be a better member, but I'll try even
harder at being someone who you'll enjoy having in the community. A feeling
that is not unanymous right now, from what I know.
I have been posting some not very nice messages in the past. I have insulted
people on a personnal level. I have even said things that I strongly regret
ever saying, moreso thinking. I do not deny my faults and ask nothing more than
a chance to redeem myself. I don't think I'm the worst member of Lugnet either,
and many members probably don't even now I exist. This post is not, let me make
it clear, a bait for good comments (or bad) from you guys. I just wish I can
use this opportunity to say these 2 other things:
1-I love this community and the idea of being excluded from it is something I
don't enjoy, so whatever happens, I'll always keep that in mind when posting
here from now on.
2-I'm a very emotional person. I've often said things that, because I was angry
or frustrated at the moment, were harsher than they were meant to be. If you
feel I have insulted you personnally in the past, please contact me about it s
we can talk about it.
So as I am about to re-enter Lugnet, I want to thank you for reading this. It's
been a rough 2 days and I have the sincere intention to be a better member from
now on. These are not empty words, but I'll let you be the judges of that in
the weeks to come.
