You will get a few extra parts with the 1.5 version, but the RCX does not have a place to plug in an AC Power adapter. NQC will work fine with both systems. Scout is junior to the Robotics System. Hi Ed, I have found that training OmniRemote works best if you don't hold the Palm too close to the LEGO IR tower and the room is dim. $128 was a snip. While I am sure 1000's were made, very few of them seem to be in collectors hands for some reason. It was a Europe only set.
