Great engineering humor. Thanks. Now, does this mean that when my first-ever RIS creation shook itself to pieces in <10 seconds I was actually utilizing evolutionary robotics? I never grew out of the "It's snowing!" excitement either. Of course, now (...) (25 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I missed reading about a Castle Datsville idea being shot down. I would like a Castle Datsville. I think it would be cool if we could all build little structures in the old standard way (little modular sections of castle walls) and plug them all (...) (25 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: News on the 2000 space line!

My 2 cents about the Lego system/theme controversy... In the 60s, there were no themes, and all Lego toys (I think) were called Lego System (of play). In the 70s, the word system was not used to describe any Lego toys, or themes, etc - there were (...) (25 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.space, lugnet.admin.database)

  Different Idea over CastleDastville

Ok, I read James reasons for why it seems the idea is dead, how about instead of doing something like that. We start a castle with a ldraw, we build however much we want, and we then send it off to someone else and let them build onto it what they (...) (25 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

That would be cool to get one created! I could add a few things to it pretty easily, if I didn't need my 400 pent for school work I'd offer some of the rendering, though even at 400 would take more time then I've probably got free from the system :( (...)
