If you connect two motors to each other (i used 'new' technic motors) and turn one of them manually, the other one will turn too. You can transfer rotational motion through an electric wire this way. If there is no benefit to sellers, who is going to participate? You can set up whatever scheme you want but unless there is motivation, you're going to have a lot of buyers but no sellers. The idea is that you start with the crane and a 32x32 area (or larger if you wish) and then gradually build a building underneath it. Well, I am sure some stores do mark up deliberately, but working with the Systems department at Meijer, many times, it is a screw up uploading the prices every week. In C you can use the functions outport and inport, and the paralell port has TTL levels (5 V.).
