OK, waitasec! That's orange AND yellow in the same pic!

In 16 1/2 years of LEGO, I've never seen them.
I am then forced to ask the LUG at large, what's with orange bricks?
Where can i get them , what sets? is this a non-US thing only!
I'm facinated, please, indulge me...

(...) Wow! You totally missed the orange halloween bucket, with several hundred orange pieces, last year? And the Star Wars sets, many of which have orange pieces, including the Pod Racers and the Snowspeeder? It seems to be a semi-standard colour, (...) (25 years ago, 16-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
