In Germany the Ninjas were first introduced in 1999 with the black ninjas (60XX Sets), which were normally shown in the catalogue. Then, in late 1999, (or in 2000, don't know exactly) some new Sets arrived in the shelves, those with the red ninjas (...) (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

Hi, I have 4 of the technic 3038 spider slayer sets for sale. All are new and unopened (2 boxes are open, but the baggies are sealed). 2 boxes show some shelf wear, and 2 are in very good condition. (...) That's not a platoon. That's an unholy amount of Imperials destined for world domination! Remember that Legoland is scaled down from reality. FYI people, the SV TRU had SOME of the 3552s with the motor and 9V battery box as of a few hours ago. I grabbed 10, left about that many. So if you want motors CHEAP at $9.97 per set, better get down there - who knows if they have more in back or (...) (26 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
