I have dozens of the black friction pins and no dacta sets so they must
come in 'normal' sets somewhere. however for me, even the black pins
only work on small mecha.
most of my 8+ inch models won't even stand using two friction pins a
joint. While the friction pins do keep joints from flopping, in my
experiance there not near enough to hold up any good size model (using a
simple swinging joint).
