To use a term I first saw right here on LUGNET, I would agree that click
joints are a bit juniorized. But for someone like me (a limited selection of
parts mostly from Star Wars kits, zero technic skills) the click hinge opens a
whole new area of building possibility. Truth be told, I think the technic
joints are more realistic and therefore make the model more realistic.
I also think it's a matter of scale. I've built an assortment of smaller
walkers, and the joins would stand out too much even if I could build them.
Hopefully I'll learn some techniques here I can move into a bigger mech.
But until I get a better grip on Technic and more Technic parts(something I
avoided as a child) I'll be stuck with clicks.
Later!

| Alright i'm probably gonna get lynched for this one but here goes- does anybody NOT use the click hinges for joints? i realize it is a great piece, but it seems to me to be a little bit of a "cheat" if you will. of course i'm not condemning anyone (...)
