  Factory Set: Checkerboard Boxcar

For a while I'd been thinking what I really need is a good boxcar for my layout. When I saw Christopher Masi's LDD (URL) "Old (Millyard) Boxcar"> I knew I had found what I was looking for. The only problem was Chris' boxcar was in 8-wide and all of (...) (18 years ago, 17-Jul-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.trains, FTX) !

  Dark Red Hogwarts (teasers)

This is the culmination of a project that began years ago. Ross first built his version of the Hogwarts Express in time for me to bring to Brickfest PDX back in Feb 2004, but he always wanted to convert it to dark red when the necessary parts became (...)   Re: New MOC: Hogwarts Express

(...) Are you sure the Hogwarts Express is dark red? I know many preserved Mk1 coaches are dark red (maroon) in the UK, but for the films the engine was painted bright red instead of its usual green (ruffling a few feathers in the rail enthusiast (...) (18 years ago, 16-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New MOC: Polar Express pics

(...) Well, hurry up with the Dark Red Hogwarts Express. It's a gorgeous train. I was just hunting around online and did not find any good shots. Apparently the train always missed the cameras at last week's Philly show. __Kevin Salm__ LUCNY (18 years ago, 16-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New MOC: Polar Express pics

(...) Hey, thanks, that would be great, as long as it is saved as CS or earlier. I'm working on the "PE" logo that appears on the back of observation car. I'll post it when I finish it. JOHN (18 years ago, 15-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Polar Express pics

(...) If you're interested, I can email you the photoshop file I used to print out my decals. Though I have to admit that making the decals aren't difficult - I scoured the internet for a 'Polar Express' font, but came up empty handed. So I saved a (...)   Re: funny article from the Philly show

What wasn't mentioned in the article is that Lego plans to discontinue electric trains, and also that they are mostly sold on the internet. This will no doubt discourage parents from buying the sets for their kids. After all, there can be only so (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
