A deviation from my usual Space stuff... the Wardale 5AT.

Quoting the MOCPages page, "The 5AT is a 3000 horsepower, 115mph modern steam
locomotive, designed by british engineer David Wardale in the late 1990's. If
you have never heard of this machine it is because it only exists on paper".

As with my previous FFVII locomotive, I'm surprised that nobody has tried to
model this yet; from the moment I even HEARD about this thing, I knew I'd want
to build it sometime. Then again, I'm not sure obscure or well known this
machine may be.

(...) I'd seen the pics on BS but the DB red and black threw me off the scent. I'd vaguely heard of the loco (or the African one) I think. Although I think I would have gone for an all-wheels-coupled build I think the representation of the valve (...) (18 years ago, 22-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I hate to sound like the big bad meanie, but: Please turn on some lights when you take photographs. A nice desklamp with a halogen bulb does rather nicely. Personally, I replaced the generic flourescent tubes in my kitchen with expensive (...) (18 years ago, 25-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)
