Ever wanted #7 axles? 8455 has them. I've never seen them before. Kevin (21 years ago, 18-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic)

8455 - new form factor for large piston and switches

A very generous LPub and Lsynth fan bought me an 8455 as a gift. It arrived today and I'm very excited. I took some pictures of the new pneumatic parts, with the previous generation parts as a reference. The new form factor larger piston is on the (...) More pictures and I hope they are interesting. This time I stripped the car so you can see the construction and some details!   Re: EGAD! (pneumatics)

(...) Yes, the switches would need to remember their last set state. Ideally, this would be done through the use of electric pneumatic switches which, when not receiving any power, simply stay in the last position they were set in. If this isn't (...)
