Hi John, Thanks to your pre-built BrickOS tools, I have finally installed it on my Windows 2000 machine (I tried several times in the past... no luck !). The installation was really fast and easy, the only problem I got was that the default BrickOS (...) small suggestion: when you've a syntax error in NQC, it goes like this - error is reported - you correct the error - recompile the source - code is downloaded - error message disappears In my opinion, the last 2 actions should be the other way (...) (...) The Spybot brick doesn't support replacement firmwares, so it is impossible to use Java with it. At this point NQC and LASM/MindScript are your only options for programming the Spybot brick. I forgot to mention that the mana (set to channel 3) didn't respond to the laser LED's command message. Is this because the mana isn't sensitive to visible red or because the signal is somehow encoded differently when it comes out the laser? (or (...) A lot of this is untested and very rough. For some reason I still can't get the Spybot to send out RC messages to a Manas unit. Sending an RCX message (opcode 0xF7) is quite simple - either using the ROM subroutine SendRCXMessage or by using the (...) Doh! I had the low and high bytes switched on the items below which can be passed one or more frequencies. Now I have actually tested this code and it does, indeed, work (with the low and high bytes in the correct order). I've also slightly changed (...) Has anyone hacked a Spybot for more sensor ports? It seems to me that the six LED's could become 3 duel direction motor ports.
