Ed,

Yes, your reading is fishy.  From the article:

"Although Traficant was acquitted in criminal court, he was less successful in
civil court.  His latest financial disclosure form indicates that he still owes
more than $100,000 to the Internal Revenue Service after the U.S. Tax Court
ruled that he owed back taxes for taking bribes."

So, he gets acquitted in a criminal case, and somehow, in civil court,
he owes 100,000 to the US tax court for taking bribes? That is what is
fishy, Ed. Maybe your reading on it seems a little strange, hence,
fishy. Why isn't the IRS after him, then? Do they have proof this money
is from bribes? There is something wrong with this, IMHO.

He was acquitted in criminal court, but was found guilty in Civil Court.  The
Tax Court set the penalty, not the IRS.

Well, as I have said numerous times, ad nuaseum, ad infinitium, if he
broke the law, prosecute him. It seems to me your allegations still
don't hold water very well, Ed. If there is a crime, have it
investigated, or drop it.

When did you say that "ad nuaseum, ad infinitium", show me the posts?

Well, I have said, in numerous debates in LUGNET and elsewhere, that if
people are guilty of crimes, let them be prosecuted.

And now that I have provided my proof of Trafficant's conviction

No, you said that there is some civil thing "His latest financial
disclosure form indicates that he still owes more than $100,000 to the
Internal Revenue Service after the U.S. Tax Court
ruled that he owed back taxes for taking bribes." I don't think this
proves his conviction at all, since he was acquitted. If he does have
problems with the IRS, he should get that straightened out. But, this
article doesn't say anything about getting it resolved.

and unpaid
taxes, where is your proof that Hilary Clinton is a "Marxist Wench"?

Well, what would you consider her attempt to socialize healthcare in
1993? A nice gesture by an unelected person? I would suggest you start
here, which is a good example of here Marxist / leftist tendencies, and
elitist attitude, which is a good clue of here as a Marxist:

http://www.nationalreview.com/interrogatory/interrogatory032100.html

As to Guillani, Brooklyn is filing criminal charges against both Guillani and
the NYPD over a series of police brutality/murder coverups.

And I am sure that Al Sharpton is the one behind this as well, he is so
credible after the falsities and riots he started, right? Plus all those
fake charges, like that rape, right?  Where Hillary, Al Gore, and Bill
Bradley kissed up to him? Others have more details on this concerning
the NYPD and such. I suggest you read these and then try to explain how
"evil" Gulliani can be. I think he is a very liberal Republican, but he
has an established record on cleaning up that scumpit of New York City.

Oh yes, he is definitely a criminal in this example. What are you saying
here? He is extremely funny, if you see him on C-Span, he makes a lot of
good points about how bad it is in Washington, and this example here
about the v-chip is brilliant!

Not an example of his criminality, but of his character.  Brilliant - its
totally tasteless.  More of this kind of lockerroom humor can be found on his
website in his "1 minute speeches" given on the Senate floor (I don't have the
URL handy, but entering Trafficant in Yahoo will give you his website URL.)

Well, it is funny, not tasteless, and shows how clueless Washington DC
people are, and all the more reason why to keep people like Hillary and
such out of office. I have heard numerous one minute speeches statements
by him. Its refreshing to see someone challenge typical Washington DC
rattletrap, even if you don't like it.

Ed, you seem to be floating a lot of bad things here, under a cover of
somehow being a concerned person, when you have shown little evidence of
how bad James T. is, and how bad Gulliani is, even though his record
contradicts everything you are saying. I have been watching the Clinton
administration since 1994, and their lies, their double-talk, and their
actions all point to several interesting and unbelievable actions.
Whether Hillary thinks she is just a liberal / socialist / communist,
whatever, I think IMHO she is evil, and represents everything wrong with
the elitist mentality that runs around in Washington, who somehow knows
better than I do how to live my life, how to raise my children, and how
to spend my money. If you love those kind of people so much, fine, but I
am concerned about giving them any more money and power. I will fight
that kind of thinking with my last breath, and if you don't like it, Ed,
you and your friends can go to wonderful countries like China, or Cuba.

Scott S.
