  Top secret project - we need your help
 
All, Richard and I (mostly Richard, thanks Richard!) have been working on a new survey tool to get a better handle on the AFOL part desires. We have been working on a super top secret project – we’ll call it Project X - for many months now, and it’s (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.lego.announce, lugnet.color, lugnet.announce, FTX) !!

Jake, Thanks for putting this tool up - I'm interested to see what the outcome is. I'm not going to read into your post anything more than is there, but I'm sure the flames are coming... VERY cool survey there Jake/Richard! It will be interesting to see what impact this has on the selection of parts available at PaB. On a side note. Jake, I've not yet filled out the survey, but I intend to do so. However, I had some comments. It might be more efficient to ask, "which pieces/colors should *not* necessarily be offered in bulk?" For example, I firmly believe that you (LEGO) should (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color)

If you redo this survey at some time I suggest that you include some of the obvious groups like all basic brick (1x1,1x2,1x3,1x4,1x6...,2x4,2x6). Or you could have another more focused survey about what proprotions of basic brick sizes would make a (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color)

Hey Jake, This seems like it could lead to some very cool things in the future. I did the survey with no problems just a few minutes ago. Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I have upgraded the memory in the webserver that is running the Bulk Bricks survey. This is a GREAT idea! Lego could put mass quantities of "standard torsos" in, and every once in a while mix in something really rare like a forest maiden or something. Hey, we need you at my work! Our internal ECRM system uses IIS and it has to be restarted twice a day (mind you the SQL it ties itself in knots every so often as well) I'm sure, as you say, its not an inherent problem but just incorrect config but (...) I did not add some, as e.g. arches already are popular. See my comment for more: 2335 Flag 2 x 2 A system with stickers for different coutries and maybe companies. Once I have used this flag for a building, using "birthday party stickers", which fit (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color)

(...) Hi Sonnich, The term you are looking for is 'translucent' which means that it allows light through, but the light gets diffused (ie. scrambled) so that one can't see through it. Old Lego windows, incidentally, tend to become translucent as (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color)
