Nope, its warm.
Sand-blue and dark-blue, yes. Regular blue is warm. I havent really checked
any of the lesser shades of blue, but I doubt it would look good with
Maersk-blue, and dark-bley does ugly things to medium-blue (for some odd reason,
it actually makes medium-blue look like sand-blue should, unless youve got a
sample of sand-blue there to compare with it).
Very warm.

And it works fine in Technic models with Yellow, Red, White, etc.

Warm, warm, warm.

Actually, I like the new Aquaraiders sets, and they use a variety of colors
with Bley, and nothing really clashes.

They do, but some colors clash worse than others. Orange looks hideous next to
dark-bley for some reason.

(Ive seen lots of posts about bley being a poor choice for rocks, and I have
to say thats a local preference. Around here- Pikes Peak region- granite is
pink. PINK! Sometimes greyish pink, sometimes pink with little black flecks.
But it isnt any flavor of grey, except maybe pinkish grey. What if Lego had
decided that modeling rocks was important?)

Oh, rocks are a different story. I recall a discussion about how bad a choice
yellow was for the first Castle set, but there are a few historic European
castles that are classified as being yellow, and not a lot that have that iconic
grey look to them. There are even a few that have a rosy tint, and not all
because of granite, as I recall.

More and more people will be using Compact Fluorescents. It may not be as
crazy as you think. I switched recently, and I think I like them.

Check the box against a 4 flourescent cool-white tube to see the HUGE
difference in color tone. Again, no sane person lights their home with
cool-white flourescent lights. Basement, maybe. Garage, probably. Living
room, never. Bedroom, not if you ever want to get romantic again for the rest
of your life (though, I suppose if you wanted to discourage your kids from
messing around...).

| (...) David, are you seriously going to tell me that what I like in colors isn't correct? If so, you've got bigger issues than the color change. I used Tan with new greys in (URL) building>, for example. It's one thing for you to tell me you don't (...) (18 years ago, 9-May-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)
