- Ability to buy more grey or brown pieces at non-inflated prices
I’m sure there are other really good reasons to switch and I’d like to hear
some of them.

Hi Tim,
You’ve really summarised the reasons for using bley very well, and I agree with
them all - although I would not give them all equal #1 ranking. I guess my main
reason is that they are nicer to look at (particularly the new dark grey) than
the old shades, and they do generally work better with the other LEGO colours
(at least to my untrained eye).
I would say, though, that I don’t regard myself as having ‘switched over’ - I’ve
just warmly embraced the new colours. I use new and old, even mixing them on
occassions.
